Can water scarcity be transformed from a situation that foments warfare into an opportunity to bring people of different religions and conflicted histories together? We have seen evidence that this might be the case. But one thing is clear: we have no choice. Fresh water around the globe is running out. We have to cooperate to save it—and save our own lives.
